Alternately
layer into baking dish:
2 sliced yams or 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. carrots
4 grated cloves of garlic
Sprinkle
tamari or soy sauce on top. (Optional - sprinkle corn oil or
olive oil on top.)
Cover with
foil and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour, or 45 minutes, if cut
very thin.
